Or How I learned to stop worrying and love the (Banana) Bomb
By Tilted Kitty
It finally came to PSP. Worms. Not the nasty little coded things that turn your machine into so much crap, the little things that blow each other up with many and varied weapons of warfare.

Spagbol.
So whats different between this and, say, Worms on PC? Or on any other platform? The answer: Nothing. nothing at all. Except it's on PSP. Oh, and the range of weapons is a little limited. Oh, sure, so most of the old favories are there (who could forget the "Prod" or the "Banana Bomb"), but it does seem to be missing some of the later weapons (Old Lady and the Holy Hand Grenade are two which spring to mind).
It seems a little... small... on a PSP screen. Even when zoomed in you need a magnifying glass to really see any detail. However, this doesn't detract from the whole hilarity of poking an opponent into the lava below, or calling in an airstrike (coincidentally taking out two of your own men... sorry wrigglers... but at least you got the last of the enemy out, and an action replay out of it as well). In fact, since I could never actually make out the players on a PC screen anyway (the tears from laughing too much used to get in the way), this doesn't even make much of a differenct to me anyway.
Of course, there's also the multiplayer modes. You can play this in "hot-seat" mode, making it great for introducing people to the game. You can play it with up to four players wirelessly as well, so getting the secretary to play with your worm while the boss is away shouldn't be too hard if she's got a PSP as well (and a copy of the game...).

Secretaries. Salt of the earth every one of them.
Did I forget to mention the movies? I did? Well there are some short Worms movies that you can view from the options menu as well - all with the old Worms humor.
All in all, an excellent conversion to the format. Now what did I do with that exploding sheep....?
