Instructions:

- Rub off the latex.
- Find three identical symbols on any of the games to win prize shown.
- Reveal a mothership in the BONUS game to win £12 automatically.

Let's have a go, then…

*Grasps shiny new penny firmly in right hand. Braces card on firm surface with left. Prepares to scratch…*

Before…

Start with bonus game. Scritch, scratch, rub. Blow away latex debris. A big X, no bonus. Hey ho. On to the main games, then…

Begin hasty, furtive scratching on the right of panel. Move down card to reveal prize amounts - £44, £11, £8,000 and £2. Take a wild stab in the dark and assume that if card turns out to be a winner it will not be for £8,000.

Further scritchy-scratchy rubbing with coin to reveal symbols in each game in turn…

Explosion, ship, ship, explosion, base. Forty-four Earth pounds not won, then.

Base, ship, inv-b, inv-b, base. Nor eleven.

Base, inv-b, base, inv-a, inv-a. Well – what would I do with eight grand, anyway?

Base, inv-b, inv-b, inv-b, inv-a. YES! I'm the man! We have a winner. Two quid. Doubling of the initial stake – that’s good going in any gambler’s book. Gameplay was a bit repetitive, but the graphics are faithful to the original and – a new Space Invaders experience – I walked away with more money than I went in with.

Rubbish sound, though.

After.
