Computing History - A Link#FFE3 to the past [Part 2 teaser.]

If computers are like girlfriends, then the Commodore Pet was like that first kiss and fumble around. You know you're into it, you know it's going to be good, but you're not quite sure where to start. Sometimes you're worried you're going to press the wrong button and screw it all up - but somehow you get through it. It's fun, you learn a lot and enjoy yourself - but you also know there’s so much more waiting to be discovered in the future.

The second computer is like your second go. You think you've had a bit of experience. You're confident - ready to take a few risks to see how far you can get. Shit, you're ready to get down and dirty and the devil take the consequences.

I guess it's no coincidence that this analogy comes to mind because I was pretty much into teen hormone hell by the time I got the second computer I fell in love with - and the first I owned.

Yup, as with girls, I had to share my first, but the second was all mine....
