Proper crap thing - a lovely new forum, and I can only look at it on my phone thanks to my workplace's draconian (but possibly necessary) blocking... I'll still be peeping in, but the likelihood is that I'll be posting a lot less. Phones are not meant for big posts, and editing is awkward. Gutted.

Couldn't quite get on with Mirror's Edge myself, but had to admire what they tried and thought it at least deserved a second go. -

Especially given that it's slightly disappointing sales ( but still over 1Million units) can be said to down to EA's idiotic decision to release it at the same time as loads of established IPs had games coming out.

Gutted about Mirror's Edge. Absolutely adored it.

I don't think either EA or DICE were ever that confident about a Mirror's Edge sequel. The article said they only put a small team on it. Maybe a token effort was made to fix what was wrong with the first game - but quite often there's a consensus among the team when they know a prototype's going nowhere.
If jobs were lost, that's a shitter. Hopefully there's room enough for everyone on Battlefield .. -
Was hoping I'd improve once I got back home, but I feel worse at the moment, with a lack of appetite, weak as a kitten (walking takes real effort) and little bladder control. :-[

Stoma nurse visited yesterday and said it might take many weeks before I feel 'well', so am gonna have to accept it'll take a while.
