I've only watched the video once, first time I've heard the song, and I got the exact impression from the line in question that the "artist" intended, and I'm bloody AWFUL at picking up subtext. -

Nice! I've used genetic algorithms a few times. They're useful for finding the "best fit" between a model and data when you have a few free parameters (e.g., you want to fit the daily temperature profile with A sin wt + B, where A,w and B are the parameters to be determined). But the visualisation of how it goes about trying loads to random things is very nice indeed.

Not sure how much faith I'd put in a home made sub. I mean, even some of the military ones have been a bit shonky.
You'd think with all that drug money they'd be able to afford a kosher one. -
I think there's a big market for a submersible that only needs to go down 10 or 15 feet and is GPS guided. Just put the drugs in, set the waypoints and wave it off. Three days later it pops up at a secret midnight cove.

This episode of Rainbow apparently made it to air back in the day. Not 100% sure but I think it was immediately after a decision had been made to cancel the show, so all the writers and performers didn't give a fuck.
