There was a time, not so long ago, where you would have to visit the arcade if you wanted to look like a prize idiot while you were playing your games.

Nowadays, what with steering wheels, microphones, cameras, drumsticks and even guitars becoming the norm, you can make yourself look stupid in the privacy of your own home. A home that is in danger of collapsing under the combined weight of the increasingly 'innovative' controllers needed to play.

We wondered where this trend might lead. Scroll down, gentle reader. If you dare...
