Kid Casio (on Sensible Soccer 2006)
"I'm enjoying this game so much more now that I have taken advantage of GAME's 10-day return policy."

Mad Hippo
"Me & my bro made a lego subbuteo team once so we could play Lego Vs Subbuteo. I think Lego won, but I can't really remember."

strawdonkey (on Amped 3)
"...you fall off and are greeted with this fearful scream. Odd. So, next is the biggest jump you can find. Purposefully tip off. The screams keep coming, and the higher you are in the air when you fall off, the more intense and scared the screams become. The very worst ones give me the chills. There's a girl falling 60ft screaming through your telly like she's going to die. You almost believe her too."

Congratulations, you have successfully unlocked August's container-load of the Original Spirit.

It's a bit of a light load this month - blame it on the heat, blame it on the school holidays, blame it on the boogie if you absolutely must, but we prefer to blame it on quality control.

This month sees the return of two Rodent legends in one article as Sickboy finally weighs in with his Gaming Life. Image of the Month returns from its extended absence too - we're good to you lot sometimes.

Interview duty falls to Throngor this month as he succumbs to the dark side of SID-generated music, leaving TT free to bring us up to date with the Missile Command bug.

As always, we bring you the definitive Rodent guide to how to spend your pennies in our review section. You might be best served saving them until September...

'Til next time...

Cheers

Chris, Editor - August 2006
